I am very disappointed that they have eliminated the combos. Now, you will need to order your burger and fries seperately. The only combos they have, are the kids menu combos and the special of the day.
I was there and ordered the kids burger combo, because I find that the burgers there are a little too big for me. The lady told me "is it for you ma'am? If so, you can't do that, we can offer you the fat burger, it's the same", but you can't order it as a combo, everything seperate. And then, I the portions for the onion rings are half the size of what they use to be.
Very disappointed. Never going back.
Finally a good burger that fits your mouth without stuff squishing out all over. Quite a large burger but not Guy Fieri large. We were pondering the overhead menu when a server pointed out the sweetheart special. 2 bacon bugers with fries and bottomless drink plus 10 mini donuts $20.00. Sign me up! Onion rings instead of fries, no problem. Caesar salad instead of fries, no problem. Very accommodating and friendly. Place is very clean with a lot of stainless steel. Feels kinda retro. Looks like they scrub it down daily. I've been to the Five Guys in Bellingham and I gotta say this franchise puts them to shame. Parking is a major problem. I parked in the Save On underground lot a block away. Luckily it wasn't raining.
I pass by this place every week so I thought i should try it. Very friendly service and the burgers are great. I also like their onion rings. The prices are also very reasonable and place was clean. They burgers are better than White Spot burgers. Parking can be difficult but you can park at Save On Foods lot and walk. They also take 10 mins to make your burger. Will go again.
went here for a late night bite and found it rather disappointing. the lady at the counter was very helpful though when explaining the menu. when our burgers arrived it was so incredibly ordinary and boring. i didn't see it as being much more superior than a quarter pounder at mcdonald's but it was incredibly almost 10 times the price. next time i'll just go there
Don't order the Double unless you are very hungry especially if you include fries. The Double was juicy and enough fries for three people. The place is new and spotless inluding the wash rooms. I could see parking could be a problem if the place is busy but I will go back in the next couple of weeks to order a single burger and not the double
I have been to This location a couple of times the staff really try hard at providing top notch service. The food is good. The burger is loaded with lots of toppings but almost too many as it takes away from the meat. THe fries are nicely done not overloaded with salt.
I would probally go more but the hefty price tag for a meal prevents me from doing so.
Not sure what this chain is about or how they survive. I am not going to pretend I am an expert in their food or a long time eater of their burgers as my review is based on my first and lone visit yesterday. Curiosity drew me in because I think they have been around or a while.
Their burger was absolutely not delicious, looked below average and seemed more unhealthy than the average burger. They charge you restaurant prices but are actually a fast food stop with no service. Hmmm very confusing because without value, taste or goodness I am not sure what they are all about. I am not a big burger eater I suppose but if I want to go to a chain Harvey's (price) or Vera' (quality) are better.
Damn! So my wife suggested we sample the new burger shack on Lougheed. After the place hosed me for $30 bux, l left feeling indigested from the grossly overpriced menu items. l ordered the mushroom swiss and my wife ordered the original burger combo platters. We sat down and watch em bring us our food and considering
what we got, both burgers werent THAT special!! It wasnt huge and the flavours were pretty typical tasting.
Some small amount of cut fries and bottomless pop, a little slab o meat, cheese and shrooms and badda bing badda boom...thanks for coming! The only thing last about this joint is its the LAST time l'm coming to this
BIG RIPOFF! Especially if you're doing a takeout!!!
These places WILL NOT be around at these overinflated prices!! Service was mediocre and no smiles or enthusiasm from the staff. Presumably cuz their not making their sales targets!
There goes $30 bucks of your hard earned money for an experience you'd rather forget.
I have eaten at Fatburger many times in the last few years and decided to try this location for the first time. We ordered a couple of fatburger combos and a strawberry margarita. The food was good, hot and tasty. The margarita was excellent - could taste the tequila, which is a change from other mass produced margaritas. The service was excellent. There was always someone coming by to see that everyone was enjoying their meal and there was no garbage left on any of the tables. Didn't have one this evening, but I highly recommend the milkshakes! Really Good! All in all, an enjoyable meal.
I got the fatburger. Just a really average, run of the mill burger.
Nothing special at all. No special toppings without paying more.
I assume it's not a frozen pattie so it doesn't feel like fast food, but for the money there should be some special toppings available.
Fries are average frozen fries.
Ambiance is like A&W.
Service is ok. order at counter and they bring it to you.
Not great value overall.
The wife and I stopped in for a bit to eat. I was very impressed with what I received when I ordered my food. The staff are very polite and made you feel that you were glad that you came to eat there. It is a nice place to eat that is fresh and clean. The owner did not yell at his staff but I noticed that he was encouraging in the way he spoke to his kitchen staff when he was showing them how to do something. Way to go and very nice to see the team work you demonstrated to them.
My sister and I recently popped into Fatburger as it is right near my house and I had been curious about it. When ordering (she a Fatburger, me a turkey burger) I felt the price was rather steep for "burgers & fries" however, once our meal arrived I was shocked at the sheer size of the burgers. They are VERY big so be sure you have a LARGE appetite when you go! My sister thoroughly enjoyed her burger and said it had a nice subtle smokey flavour. My turkey burger was awesome, not a dried out frozen patti like most places and the fries were great (although the gravy tasted like it was from a can). We shared a milkshake and it was scrumptious ... took us back to our childhood as it is made with real ice-cream and not flavoured syrups. I highly recommend the place and suggest that you don't judge the price until you get your meal. Of course, the funky 50's diner decor helped us enjoy the experience.
