Cozmos Cafe is a small restaurant with a large selection of coffees, beverages, baked goods, salads, breakfasts, sandwiches and entrees.
I've eaten lunch here many times with friends over the years and it's always been good.
The place is a little small and cramped but it's nice.
The service always seems like they are swamped and in a hurry.
I always order an iced tea when I eat here, it comes blended and it's yummy.
The souvlaki and the wraps here are great. Overall it's a nice little place for a decent lunch.
From the outside, Cozmos Cafe appears to be another dingy hole in the wall with meagre offerings. However, upon entering the cafe, you can see that they have accomplished a lot with the space they have.
The cafe offers martinis, regular coffees, specialty coffees, breakfasts, sandwiches, soup, salads, and entrees. I recently paid a sleepy-eyed visit to Cozmos after a night on the town with the boy. I was surprised to fine a tastefully decorated interior and a busy atmosphere.
The lone waitress served us promptly, but you could tell she was a little unnerved over not having any extra help. An additional waiter showed up near the end of our stay, and things moved more efficiently.
We both had their two eggs and sausage breakfasts and were happy to find that they had great breakfasts. Eggs, sausages, toast (with marmalade) and delectable hash browns. Ok, so it wasn't great for the waistline but sometimes you need something greasy to kick start your liver after a Saturday night out.
I also have my eye on their calamari salad, which a neighbouring table ordered, as well as their omelets and paninis.
Will make it a point to visit again to try out their selection.
My boyfriend and I love going here on weekends instead of the more expensive restaurants like Ihop or Dedutch for breakfast. This place is very affordable...also I like that the menu has a 'no-meat' option at a lower price. I haven't been there for a dinner yet but we will soon! The service is always great, usually it's one male, I think he is the owner. There are plenty of regulars he's always chatting with and he's always there to offer you more fresh coffee. The food comes quick too! It's a comfortable place to chat and there is a balcony/deck in the back for hot summer days.
It's just a sandwhich. Not a huge sandwhich. no side items. and their souvlaki plates aren't cheap either. you can get the same food, same quality for about $5 cheaper elsewhere... it's hard to find good value these days. there is so much competition out there i'm tired of restaurants taking hard earned dollars for granted.
