Mrs. C and I were sneaking some friends into the Costco to do some shopping, and despite the generous food samples all over the store, we were still hungry. It was that kind of day. The food area was not as nice or as big as other locations, but they had all the menu favorites. One weird thing was the w/c's were in a trailer at the front entrance and the old w/c had disappeared. They were clean enough but I thought the old washroom was just fine, and less drafty.

Service was the usual impersonal exchange of currency for food, but at least the lineup was short. The only reasons to eat here are the huge portions and the cheap prices. In that regard, Costco did not disappoint. We had the jumbo cholesterol hot dog and big beverage, and a slice of the artery-clogging meat pizza. Both were tasty and hot (the drinks not the solids) and the portions were enough to make us wish we had shared one item. As for price, cheap is an understatement. We were really full, and decided on the spot that we were going to have a light dinner tonight. My only (albeit minor) regret was that there was no healthy choice, but I doubt Costco attracts that demographic. Speaking for myself, I can say that I do not own a yoga mat...

A good choice since it is ALWAYS better to shop when you aren't hungry.
