Located in the South East 2 building of BCIT's Burnaby Campus.
While I went to BCIT many years ago, I never tried this place out until about a year ago with a bunch of coworkers for lunch.
Basically it's there to feed cash strapped students. The food quality reflects their ability to pay.
They have some really cheap specials. I had the fish and chips special which was like $3.99 or something. It was pretty bad, basically captain highliner formed fish sticks (those triangle pieces). I shouldn't have expected much really.
Service was interesting. The cute waitress was working on her Mensa skills I guess. She took the order for our table of about 12 people without writing it down. That scared the hell out of me as I don't like servers taking orders for more than even 2 people without writing it down. I can't recall if she got it all right, I think she might have goofed on a couple of things.
Ambience is basically a bunch of large tables of students.
Anyway it probably suits starving students OK, and I'm sure it is better than the god forsaken cafeteria I used to eat at when I went to BCIT. But I wouldn't go out of my way to find it if you are not from BCIT (it would also be a hassle to park at).
