What better way to spend a lazy day than with a bowl of soup and a nice bagel for lunch? My boyfriend and I stopped here for a bite to eat yesterday afternoon. I've been here before to just grab a dozen bagels for home. I have to say, their bagels are delicious! Not too doughy like commercial brand bagels and just the right chewyness. Their selection of bagel flavors can please just about anyone and the prices cannot be beat. I personally like the pesto and jalapeno ones best. Yesterday I had the "canadian" breakfast bagel. It was tasty, but I didn't like the microwaved rubbery egg. Next time, I will just stick with the regular bagel w/ cream cheese or a bagelwich.
The atmosphere is also great. Very rustic looking with nice hard wood flooring. I love how families get together and hang out here with their children. Gives off a nice 'community' feel.
I also have to mention that I noticed this place won some awards for best bagels.
