Huge Price Increase & Smaller Portions with Take Out
By John in Burlington of Burlington Ontario (1 Review)
Submitted Friday, September 16, 2016 - 4:59pm [Take-out]

Have been eating here for 2-3 years, Has been great value for price and the portions have been reasonable considering what the competition offers. We usually do take out though we sometimes eat in.
We have been loyal customers (2-3 times a month) but not anymore as the prices on most take out items have gone up 20-40% and some items the portions are smaller as well.
Good bye Sushi Asano!

Just moved from Mississauga to Burlington. Stumbled upon this place while in the plaza shopping at Freshco. Relatively new place I was told. Glad to have a place that has great Mediterranean food so close to where I live. I especially like the shawarma and falafel that are as real and original as you can get with this type of food. Will sure be a regular here now.

Absolute worst panzerotti I've ever had! Incredibly small. Ordered olives, onions, sausage, and sopresatta, Panzo was was full of olives and one piece of sausage. My wifes panzo was the same. Do not make the mistake of ordering from this location! Incredibly disappointed with my experience here. Called to complain and customer service would only offer me a ten dollar credit for a future order. After this experience, I have no desire to ever order from them again.

A friend told me that the store has been taken from over by some new owners and they're really doing a good job. I paid a visit and I must admit that the place is definitely in very good hands. The tables were clean and the servers were seen in the hall cleaning the tables and picking up the dirty dishes for once what are other bases on a regular basis. The food was very hot and definitely very yum. I've been to this place many times before and it is one of my favorite places to go to as I like to all my office work sitting there. The nice and quiet environment is all that I look for to work in a relaxed manner. Very courteous staff! Good job guys keep up the good work!

I normally love Starbucks, however, I had a slightly disappointing experience at this particular Starbucks. Although the staff was friendly, the environment was clean, and my drink was good, I had to wait over 5 minutes for my drink. It was a very busy morning and the staff were trying to be quick but I still felt like it was taking forever and I ended up missing my train because of it. The staff did apologize for the wait, which I appreciated but I was still upset about the wait. Will probably still come back.

I would consider myself a regular Starbucks customer- coming here on my commute to Toronto before and after work. I am continually impressed with Starbucks. They are always offering new drink options and for a coffee connoisseur like myself, it keeps me on my toes. I came to this particular Starbucks with my lovely wife and two beautiful daughters and had a wonderful evening. The Starbucks staff was friendly and the environment was welcoming. Will come back!

Never again!!
By Fedup of Burlington Mall, ON (1 Review)

I walked up to the counter at your Burlington Mall (Ontario) location today at lunch time and was asked in an annoyed tone by the bald man behind the counter if I was picking up food or a drink. I told him I had not ordered yet. Once again, in an even more annoyed tone he asked me if I was picking up a food order or drink order. Once again I told him I had not ordered anything yet. He directed me to the other end of the counter. I ordered my food, and unfortunately the same rude young guy was at the cash when I had to pay. I paid for my order and he asked me if I wanted my receipt. I had already had enough of his tone, anger and attitude so I did not respond. Once again he RUDLY asked me if I wanted my receipt. When I didn't respond, he responded with 'how rude'. I spoke up and said I didn't think I was the one being rude, his response? Well, what are you going to do about it!!!!

I sat down, took one bite of my food, got up and returned the whole meal to this obnoxious little creep. That will be the very last time I order anything from any Jimmy the Greek location again. This guy was too much!!! This went way past rude and obnoxious right into I'm going to treat this Grandma like crap because she exists, I feel like it, and there is nothing she can do about it.

Buddy, next time I'm in that mall I'm going to the Dollar store to pick you up some lip stick, a tiara, nail polish and some sparkle eye makeup so that next time you decide to have one of your little Drama Queen hissy fits you can be dressed appropriately. No one is interested in being on the receiving end of your 'I'm a fast food looser' temper tantrums. If you don't like what your doing, GET A REAL JOB!!!!

Terrible service
By Jax13 of Burlington (1 Review)

Be prepared to bring your own condiments. Terrible service, if you like sauce on your dinner, you will need to pay double as they charge you for what any other eatery would include on your plate. I would never return here and would advise customers to chose any other option in the food court. Once you go there, you never go back.

The Best K Cups & more

I've been a regular at their Burlington Mall location. I need my daily dose of K Cup caffeine & Timothy's has the best selection of K cups in the whole wide spinning world. Their Burlington mall location offers the cheapest prices as compared to any big box retailer or speciality store.

Also, their bakery & freshly brewed coffee selection is addictive to speak the least. One good part is that the prices are lower that the fashionable competition, yet quality is far better.

Dry and crusty (food and service)
By Stu of Burlington, Ontario (1 Review)
Submitted Tuesday, January 1, 2013 - 8:48am [Dine in]

My wife and I went for New Years Eve to kick off the night. What a mistake that was...The service was slow and not professional, the food was sub par - we were served broken rolls and some orders never even came. I had an allergy to wheat etc and after discussing this with our waiter the majority of our orders came with items I couldn't eat. They even told us some items that they gave us were safe to eat but actually had wheat in them (thanks guys!). We had to send back the majority of our orders cause they messed it up and had to wait even longer for them to correct it.

My overall impression was that the wait staff didn't take the time to care/understand my allergy, the food that came out was thrown together without effort and it took very long to actually get our food. Not worth the price, wouldn't go back and definitely wouldn't recommend this sh!t show to anyone.

I have been to this place a few times and the one thing that you can be sure of is that they never make anything the same way. I've had the ceasar salad and it was made with iceberg lettuce and there was no cheese or bacon. The next time there was no cheese no bacon and they made the salad with lemon dill dressing. Also when you order off the menu they don't always have what you want and the staff taking your order doesn't know that the kitchen is out of your selection. Also if you get take out be sure to check your order before you leave . Our office got take out and there was no cutlery salads with no dressing no garlic bread and chicken pot pie with no pastry or chicken in it. So beware.

Enjoy a restaurant with great food, service
By PChurey of Burlington (1 Review)
Submitted Sunday, August 26, 2012 - 2:03pm [Dine in]

The Stonehouse restaurant was our second choice, we were planning on dining at The Keg and walked in to a very noisy restaurant - not a place for a relaxing meal with good friends. Walked over to the Stonehouse and decided to give it a try. What a find! Our server was excellent; attentive at the perfect times, left us to enjoy our meal at the right times too. The meal was fantastic and the restaurant itself, perfect for conversation and the time to enjoy a beautiful meal. The dining room is on the dark side, which made it difficult to peruse the menus. The server offered us a flashlight, which helped, but that is the only criticism I have for the place. It's a great spot , but they need to improve the lighting.

Ear splitting noise from the speakers on weekend at East Side Mario's in Burlington. Had to raise (volume of) voice to be heard. Developed a headache in a short time. This can't be healthy. It's a restaurant in the suburbs, not a downtown Toronto bar or club for goodness sakes. Why not allow conversation to flow?

I dropped by this place for a quick bite to eat and to be honest I was pretty surprised. I ordered the house fish & chips and it was delightful. The fish was well battered and fried so it was nice and flakey, it went well with the sauce it came with and the fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The service was great too. It was definitely worth the money.
