I've been a regular at their Burlington Mall location. I need my daily dose of K Cup caffeine & Timothy's has the best selection of K cups in the whole wide spinning world. Their Burlington mall location offers the cheapest prices as compared to any big box retailer or speciality store.
Also, their bakery & freshly brewed coffee selection is addictive to speak the least. One good part is that the prices are lower that the fashionable competition, yet quality is far better.
My wife and I went for New Years Eve to kick off the night. What a mistake that was...The service was slow and not professional, the food was sub par - we were served broken rolls and some orders never even came. I had an allergy to wheat etc and after discussing this with our waiter the majority of our orders came with items I couldn't eat. They even told us some items that they gave us were safe to eat but actually had wheat in them (thanks guys!). We had to send back the majority of our orders cause they messed it up and had to wait even longer for them to correct it.
My overall impression was that the wait staff didn't take the time to care/understand my allergy, the food that came out was thrown together without effort and it took very long to actually get our food. Not worth the price, wouldn't go back and definitely wouldn't recommend this sh!t show to anyone.
I have been to this place a few times and the one thing that you can be sure of is that they never make anything the same way. I've had the ceasar salad and it was made with iceberg lettuce and there was no cheese or bacon. The next time there was no cheese no bacon and they made the salad with lemon dill dressing. Also when you order off the menu they don't always have what you want and the staff taking your order doesn't know that the kitchen is out of your selection. Also if you get take out be sure to check your order before you leave . Our office got take out and there was no cutlery salads with no dressing no garlic bread and chicken pot pie with no pastry or chicken in it. So beware.
The Stonehouse restaurant was our second choice, we were planning on dining at The Keg and walked in to a very noisy restaurant - not a place for a relaxing meal with good friends. Walked over to the Stonehouse and decided to give it a try. What a find! Our server was excellent; attentive at the perfect times, left us to enjoy our meal at the right times too. The meal was fantastic and the restaurant itself, perfect for conversation and the time to enjoy a beautiful meal. The dining room is on the dark side, which made it difficult to peruse the menus. The server offered us a flashlight, which helped, but that is the only criticism I have for the place. It's a great spot , but they need to improve the lighting.
Ear splitting noise from the speakers on weekend at East Side Mario's in Burlington. Had to raise (volume of) voice to be heard. Developed a headache in a short time. This can't be healthy. It's a restaurant in the suburbs, not a downtown Toronto bar or club for goodness sakes. Why not allow conversation to flow?
Place just opened. They still have some kinks to work out. Service staff was inexperienced but friendly and helpful. Guinness was served cold.
Caesar salad was quite good. Best club I've ever had. Came with real grilled chicken and peameal bacon. Really nice. Wife had fish and chips which were good.
Returning for supper tonite.
My family and were just visiting and we were starving! We thought we'd stop by here and I think we made a really great choice! The service was absolutely amazing. Whenever we would need something, someone was always there. The food was just soooo good! I had the french toast combo, it was seriously the best!! My family loved it as well. I'm going to keep this place in mind when i visit again! i definitely recommend it to anyone who lives there or is planning on visiting.
The Spinach and Feta Cheese Omelette was amazing! I am not a spinach fan but with the feta cheese was just delicous! great service. very welcoming, we walked in and they service was very impressive nice clean place to eat and relax I defintiely will recommend this place to anyone whose looking for affordable food and quality food
I know now where to go in canada for good food!
I dropped by this place for a quick bite to eat and to be honest I was pretty surprised. I ordered the house fish & chips and it was delightful. The fish was well battered and fried so it was nice and flakey, it went well with the sauce it came with and the fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The service was great too. It was definitely worth the money.
The vegetable omelette was amazing out of this world, I came from new york city and this place looked very welcoming the service was really good, the atmosphere is very friendly. I had a great time. Will surely come down here again. It was simply amazing, if your thinking about having breakfast outside with your family or even alone you this is your place. AFFORDABLE TASTY and incrediable hospitality.
Mom and I were so looking forward to trying Stonehouse as a treat following my recent surgery. While food was good, I found prices for lunch quite excessive.$17.00 for panini with side salad and some fries?? $3.50 for a glass of diet coke with no refills, so this actually costs me $6.50!! The bill was $50.00 for Mom and I. That was before dessert and coffee.
Prime rib sandwich larger, better quality, and cheaper at Canyon Creek. Service was just okay, a little condescending actually as server looked offended that we actually inquired re cost of special offered that day.Boring Olive oil with 3 small pieces of excellent bread.Again Canyon Creek's honey butter, bread basket with variety, and superb service hands down winner.I can also think of several other restaurants with equally nice surroundings and better fare for value.
