I went to Lou’s grill for the first time yesterday and immediately it was a great experience. The host at the front was super friendly and inviting and sat us immediately at our table. We sat on the patio one of the nicer patios I’ve seen, nice and private, and the atmosphere appeared lively. Shortly after the server came over and grabbed our drink order and following our food order, also very friendly. My friend and I ordered the B.L.T.C which was amazing along with the chicken stir fry that I also very much enjoyed. I noticed how much the girls worked together to keep everything moving along smoothly drinks were constantly full which I appreciate not having to ask and servers taking anticipative. From beginning to end it was a great experience and wouldn’t hesitate going back.
My best friend and I came in for dinner and both of us were pleased with the atmosphere. Good music that wasn't too loud and the decor was quite sophisticated. We were also happy with the service. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and our server was really on the ball with making sure we had everything right down to filling our waters regularly.
We both tried the Jack Daniels BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger with added Mushrooms and we shared a cheese bread appetizer. I enjoyed the the feta cheese on the bread. Not something I have seen anywhere else. The sauce on the burger was good and the portion size was more than generous. I found the burger patty itself was bland, but I liked that it tasted homemade and not like a frozen cookie cutter patty. Over all it was a very nice experience and I would definitely come back!
I went to Lou's Grill the other night with a friend around 6:30 pm, It was very busy when we arrived, I thought that there was going to be a wait but we were seated quite quickly. Our drink order was taken within the first few minutes of us being seated, I ordered a virgin Caesar since I don't drink it had the perfect amount of spice to it. The food was amazing and very filling, I ordered the New York steak it was cooked perfectly. I enjoy going to Lou's Grill the atmosphere is relaxing and has great music at a decent volume, the staff was very attentive, had great attitudes and were very accommodating. I highly recommend Lou's Grill for everyone.
I went to Lou’s Grill not too long ago and I just wanted to say I had a great experience. The lighting was perfect, not too light and not too dark. We were seated immediately and the server never let our glass be empty. I have only eaten their appetizers and they’ve all been more than satisfactory. Hands down, stoli ceasar is the best thing on the menu. I highly recommend visiting Lou’s Grill.
I went to Lou’s Grill a month ago for drinks and desert with my boyfriend for the first time. We went around 7:30pm to try and avoid the dinner rush but it was still quite busy when we arrived. We got sat quickly even though the restaurant was pretty full and drink orders was taken within 5 minutes of us being sat. I order the Jolly Rancher Martini which was one of the best martinis that I have ever had especially since I normally do not like martinis at all. It took a little bit of a wait to get our drinks once they were ordered but was understandable as it was busy. For desert I ordered the Chocolate Utopia, which was delicious. If you are ever craving chocolate, the chocolate utopia is the perfect choice.
Lou’s Grill is a great place to be. The food and drinks are great as well as the servers are very friendly and unlike some restaurants it has a very relaxing atmosphere. I really enjoyed not having to yell at the person sitting across from me while having a conversation as the music was at a nice volume and the tables were nicely spaced out that you did not hear word to word of other people’s conversations. With the great drinks, food and atmosphere, I recommend this place to everyone!
Several months ago my boyfriend and I dinned at Lou’s Bar & Grill and had a great experience. All the service provided was excellent; from the warm greetings of the hostesses, to the great hospitality of the servers. The restaurant was very lively and upbeat which made it fun and enjoyable. We also noticed the very cool and unique abstract paintings on the walls, which added to the lovely setting. The music also added to the lively atmosphere which was nice. The best part of our experience was the mouth-watering cuisine from your menu of endless "scrumptiousness". I ordered the rib and steak with garlic bread, salad and fries, which was beyond delicious. Since I decided to get something that had a lot of variety, my boyfriend opted to get the famous nachos which left us looking forward to our next dining experience at Lou’s Bar & Grill. All in all, our dining experience was the cherry on top of our day. The service was impeccable, and the cuisine was all-star.
Came out here last friday for the lovely long island specials and really had a great time. Enjoyed the B.L.T.C with a side of caesar salad which arrived shortly after ordering, considering it being a busy friday night. Our server was extremely personable and friendly, making us feel very comfortable. I would recommend Lou's to any one looking for a tasty meal alongside good music and great drink specials.
They have very delicious food and their service is outstanding. I went there to dine in with my friends and I was amazed on how beautiful the restaurant is with the cherry blossom tree! I am definitely going to go there when I visit Abbostford again. I had a chicken terryaki sushi roll and it was very tasty and soft because they used chicken breasts. Also, I had a special roll called "Lion King" roll and I cannot describe how delicious it was!
First off I have to say Lou's has amazing food. Adding to the great food is an amazing atmosphere with friendly employees. Whether your just stopping in for a few drinks or a great meal you will not be disappointed!! The patio is amazing for beautiful sunny evenings definitely a plus!!
Tonight my friend and I went to Lou’s Grill for dinner around 8:30pm, I always wanted to try the food there because from the look outside, the frame and the whole building is very unique, and just makes you want to go inside. It was very busy when we arrived there, the room was pretty much full of customers, from different age groups, different nationalities, but everybody was laughing and enjoying their food. The hostess who welcomed us was super friendly, she got us a table for two, it was a small table because all other tables were full. My friend tipped over the candle by accident, the hostess cleaned it up as soon as possible and offered us to change the table. We both appreciated the attitude of the hostesses who work there , they were very helpful and always have a smile on their faces, that just make everything better. We were chatting before our food were ready, I found that the environment at Lou’s Grill makes it easy for people to communicate, we both love the light inside and the awesome music, it just makes you want to have a good laugh with friends and enjoy the time (makes me wanna dance too haha). Finally our food were ready, my friend had the chicken sticks and I have the blackened cajun chicken, have to say that was such a big plate. The meat was cooked perfectly and I love the fries, we couldn’t eat all of them so we took it to go in the end, it feels like you can actually have two awesome meals by ordering once, haha. Anyway the food were amazing and we enjoyed the meal and had a really good time with the great service. I would defiantly come back again sometime and try the drinks too!
Last night my mom joined me for a meal at Lou’s Grill. We arrived around 7:30pm and we were promptly greeted by the Hostess. We were impressed at how knowledgeable the Hostess was with the daily drink specials. We enjoyed the warm atmosphere and attentive staff. It was difficult to decide what food to order since they have so many tempting items to choose from. I ordered the BTLC and my mom ordered the Bacon Mushroom Swiss Burger. We were amazed at how fast our food came out and at its great presentation. The food was hot, well portioned and tasted delicious. I noticed the staff cohesiveness and teamwork when I saw the Servers helping each other to clear tables, assisting one another with food orders/delivery and actively communicating with each other. The only thing I may have changed which was minor would have been the music above our table; it seemed very loud at times, making it difficult to hear each other and our server but overall, we had a fabulous night and recommend Lou’s Grill, so come check it out!! We plan to be back soon to enjoy Lou’s Patio!!!!!!!!
I went to Lou’s Grill on a weeknight with my boyfriend and although it was relatively busy we were greeted with smiles and were seated right away by enthusiastic staff that was quick to bring us menus and take our drink orders. My boyfriend enjoyed 2 Stellas that were on special. Our server was super friendly, attentive and brought out our food and drinks very quickly. We shared the 3 cheese garlic bread appetizer and the blackened Cajun chicken sandwich (since it was a generous portion) which were both excellent and made with quality ingredients. The atmosphere inside is awesome with a wood interior, fun music, and great decor making for a great overall ambiance. However, I did find that it began to get a little too dark inside as it got darker outside. Overall, I would recommend Lou’s Grill to anyone who is looking for amazing food and drink, fast and friendly service, and a great atmosphere!
I have been going out here for Sunday buffet brunch with my family for a while now.
I just wanted to thank all the staff and cooks who always make my family welcome.
They always make sure we are happy with our food and service.
We are happy to return again and again.
I am a frequent customer at Lou's Grill and it is not just the delicious food such as the nachos (Please Note: This plate is piled with delicious toppings that is enough for me to share with 3 other friends!) that keeps me coming back. I do not keep coming back because I LOVE the blue cheese caesar salad which is, suffice to say, a unique flavourful approach to a classic salad, Yum. It is not only because of the fantastic drink selection and the tempting weekly drink specials. The true beauty of an establishment like Lou's is the atmosphere. At Lou's you get to relax and enjoy the company of good people. The staff are calm and happy as well as attentive. A place like Lou's is more then just good food and drinks, it is the enjoyment of life's many pleasures.
I visited Lou's about a week and a half ago along with my boyfriend and a friend of his. The hostess was friendly and greeted us right away. We requested to sit out on patio to enjoy the sunshine as it was super gorgeous outside.
As we had recently eaten, we just ordered the spinach and artichoke dip to eat as a snack. It was delivered quickly, was delicious, and disappeared quickly. I ordered a Sleeman Honey Brown beer, my boyfriend ordered a Stoli Caesar, and his friend ordered a couple different cocktail drinks to try (a Pimm's cup and Lou's lemonade). My boyfriend was not a big fan of the prawn but said the Caesar itself was very good. His friend said his favourite of the cocktails was the lemonade.
As I work in a restaurant as well, I always find myself scrutinizing the service at other restaurants I visit and make mental notes of what I like and don't like for my own use. One thing I remember noticing was the teamwork between servers. For example, the server who took our drink orders was not the same server who delivered them, but they still came quickly and were delivered to the right people. All of the servers were good looking ladies.
I think my favourite part of my visit there was the ambience. It reminded me of being out in a fancy cabin somewhere away from the city, and as I'm originally from Vancouver I found it very relaxing and wished we could've stayed longer. Unfortunately we had other things we had to do right after.
I personally have no complaints about my visit to this restaurant, and look forward to visiting again soon with more of an appetite to try out more of the food. My boyfriend has been here many times and tells me a lot of the food he has tried is amazing, especially the pasta, Reuben sandwich and seafood stir fry.
I will be recommending this place again next time my friends and I are looking for somewhere to eat.
Went for their brunch buffet. $13.50 for an adult and $8.50 for kids under 12 (i presume).
The buffet was the usual fare with limited items. Chicken wings was a bit on the dry side.
The usual breakfast items comprising of scrambled eggs, bacon, hash brown. lunch items comprised of chicken wings, rice, beans, carrots, mashed potatoes, gravy and roast beef.
one kind of salad and mixed fruits.
The only issue is that drinks are also charged like coffee and juice.
I thought this comes standard with the buffet.
My last experience at Lou’s was last Halloween. I went down there with a few girlfriends to buy a couple appys and have a few drinks. Little did we know they had a Burlesque theme going on, it was sexy yet classy. It was SO much fun ! All the lovely servers were dressed up and there were multiple drinks specials to choose from. All I can say is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G ! They had good upbeat music playing all night , the severs were all very friendly and attentive , excellent drink prices and the cajun chicken quesadillas are to die for , so yummy ! Such a great welcoming atmosphere, definitely the #1 choice when you want to get together with your friends and have a goodtime. I’d highly recommend it :)
This place is experimenting with karaoke entertainment on Tuesday nights. My husband and I enjoy an evening of singing and so we went. My commute home is an hour and so instead of rushing to make supper and wolf it down my husband suggested we have something at the restaurant. I placed my order before he placed his. When my meal came he asked the waitress to bring him the same. He asked if he could have "HP Sauce" instead of ketchup. The waitress let him know that the HP would cost an extra 50 cents. Ketchup comes with the meal but HP is a "dip". My husband explained that he doesn't want the ketchup. The kitchen staff can't make a substitution. My husband opted not to have a meal. I spoke to the floor manager and explained to her that for the sake of 50 cents the restaurant lost the sale of a meal. I asked her if she could explain that concept to the kitchen staff. She said that they had no authority to make the change. Will I go back for karaoke again? Yes, I enjoyed the show and find the host is very good. Will I eat there again. No. I will have a glass of water.
Review of Lou’s
Every time I’ve gone to Lou’s its usually absolutely packed making parking was difficult to find. Usually, I’m greeted by someone as soon as I walk in, but there have been a few times I’ve had to wait a few minutes. I then usually have to wait another couple of minutes as someone clears a table for me and my group. I don’t mind the wait because I know the drinks and food would be worth it.
The atmosphere inside is great if you’re looking for laid-back kind of place. The music is a mix of popular music and old school classics. There is a section at the front of restaurant with very comfortable, oversized leather chairs. These chairs are great if you just want to sit back and relax, but not so great if you want to talk to the person across the table because you sink right into them.
Depending on the time and size of group you have the service can vary there. I have found that smaller groups (2-4 people) receive more attention from the server, but then with larger groups, the server tends to neglect them a little more and let their drinks go completely empty before she comes around again. If I were put in that situation, I would spend more time with the larger group and not try to rush them in their ordering.
The food and drinks at Lou’s are consistently delicious! They have a large food and drink menu, with something for everyone. The food portions are large enough to fill even the hungriest person. The last time I went, I wanted something light and ordered a side Caesar salad and the three cheese garlic bread (which smelt absolutely delicious!). On their own, the two items were very delicious, but combined together it was a little too much garlic for my liking (I know for next time). Along with the fantastic food, the drink specials are equally fantastic. Their drink specials are inexpensively priced (around $5 or less per drink) which is fantastic if you want to try something new and not spend a lot of money. Also, the drinks are not watered down like some other places I’ve been to. My personal favorites are pitchers of long islands, deep blue martinis and purple haze martinis.
I always have a fun time when I go to Lou's! The atmosphere is awesome and the food is unbelievable! The portions are huge. I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here. Service is always great. This is our Sunday fun day hang out because their drink specials are so cheap!
