We went there on a Saturday night to find it to be less than busy. We were told to "sit anywhere" and happily placed ourselves in a private section. The waitress immediately asked us to move to a smaller section, despite it being a relatively empty restaurant.
We ordered some tea, miso soup, and california rolls. Food was good - miso was tasty and the california rolls were delightful.
Our problem is with the service... or lack thereof. We have been here many times and the service is always lacking. This time, our food arrived and our waitress was never to be seen again. We wanted a refill on our tea and our leftovers packed up but the waitress never returned. We also noticed that a larger party arrived and used the initial section we were seated in. No problem... except that they received the best service while we received none. We thought the waitress could at least give us a glance while serving a party right next to us!
In the end we gave up on tea refills and brought our own leftovers up to the counter. We paid, left, and decided never to return. We felt like they couldn't care less about our business and there are so many other places with much better customer service.
