3 of us went for a late lunch, the burgers were homemade and served on french bread, they were excellent.
The beef dip was very tasty and the au jus was thicker than usual but very flavorful. Not too many folks there at the time, the service was very good, no complaints. Limited dessert menu, but who needed dessert after that big meal?
We've visited Lou's quite a few times now, and have yet to have a bad experience, food has always been good, service is friendly and efficient, good menu, something for everyone. Last time we visited they were rennovating, so the ambiance wasn't quite what we were used to, but service and food were still great. Good martinis! A little hard to find if your not familiar with the area, but a neat building and location! We highly reccomend Lou's for a great night out!
Everything about this place is awesome! The food is incredible, the selection is amazing, the building is really cool, almost like a cabin! Service if nice & friendly! This is quite possibly one of, if not the best bars in the Lower Mainland! I have taken a lot of people to this bar, & everyone raves about how great it is! It's hidden in an area you wouldn't expect to see a bar in, so if you think you are lost, you might not be!
Food at Lou's has always been solid. The burgers are great and the pastas are huge. Nachos are amazing. The drinks are strong and well worth the price. Sunday's are a great night to grab a seat on the patio with some friends and take advantage of all the weekly specials.
Service can be hit or miss however. I've had amazing servers to mediocre to absolutely horrible. If it wasn't for the food and the great atmosphere on some nights, I probably wouldn't come back after some of the services I've had.
Overall, a great choice for drinks and food with some friends, especially in Abbotsford.
the food used to be fantastic! then they changed their kitchen staff and the food is still good, but nowhere near what it used to be. good place to go for dinner and drinks if you want to stay local. fairly dark, nice ambiance, outdoor patio is nice because you can smoke (unless they've changed it, haven't been in about a year). most meals are 15-25$ and worth the money.
